You'll be define the system's architecture with a focus on video domains, for a new exciting, top notch technology which will be used for projects in several vertical markets as Cinematography, Video broadcasting , Enterprise and medical markets
Exploration and adaptation of HEVC and other new video compression method - for 'near zero' latency solutions while keeping the maximum video quality and adapt the bit rate to the variable channel conditions. Take a part in IP selection (in case of FPGA solution) of IC selection (in case of an external compression solution)
Work closely with Amimon's RnD groups - System, Algorithm, Software, Hardware, RF, CTO teams for examination of the product and the technology needs Vs suggested solution and architecture.
Experience with video processing and video compression
Working on a full design flow from high-level architecture definitions, through micro architecture.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible
BSc in Electronics engineering/ MSEE advantage
A minimum of 6 years of experience in video compression domain (Can be a relevant knowledge from handing it as SW/HW/VLSI eng)
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience of System architecture eng
It would be awesome if you also had:
oFamiliarity with FPGA families of Altera / Xilinx
oVerilog coding capabilities
C coding capabilities
Familiarity with Linux OS
High Tech, Electronics, Semiconductor/capital equipment
