Job Description:

As a Data Scientist you will turn raw data into valuable insights in the area of Risk Scoring and Threat detection.
You will interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to come up with imaginative solutions to very complex problems.

In this role you will take part in building a new innovative product from scratch, and have a huge influence on its design, flows and technology.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data from multiple sources, conduct experiments and create actionable insights to drive best solutions.
Be an expert and knowledge point of contact to all data analysis aspects
Work as part of a cross-functional team between product, engineering, and QA to lead research of cybersecurity threats detection and risk scoring.
Job Qualifications:
Strong organizational and self-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree or above – an advantage) .
4+ years hands-on experience in Data Analysis and Machine Learning
Experience in utilizing machine learning in a production/commercial environment – a must.
Hands-on software development experience – an advantage
Experience in one of the following technologies: Spark, Yarn, Kafka, Hbase, Cloudera, AWS, Redshift – an advantage.
Experience with managed data processing services (e.g. Kinesis, SageMaker) – an advantage
Solid understanding of security and networking implementation and best practices – an advantage
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
