Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
" Definition and execution of system tests associated with RF/baseband/PHY/SerDes performance
" Define HW and SW requirements for silicon BU.
" Be accountable for Pre silicon & HW readiness, BU phases and exit criteria, Setup, Automation, Analysis, and methodologies.
" Be accountable for Post silicon & HW Characterization, Analysis, and debug, generate detailed reports which will reflect performance status for silicon level.
" Work closely with HW teams, VLSI design, Algo and system architecture teams for optimal silicon performance .
" Work with SW team for Registers drop, Calibration, flows, Complex algorithm features (DPD), etc.
Job Qualifications:
" BSc in Electrical engineering with a GPA of 80+
" Knowledge in operating RF Test Equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Vector Signal Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope)
" Knowledge and experience in digital communication (DAC/ADC, IQ imbalance, Beamforming, DPD, DPLL, AGC, EVM, etc.)
" Deep dive debugging into the system with emphasis on RF, HW and PHY aspects
" Excellent engineering skills - problem solving, pragmatic approach, broad system view
" Ability to communicate with RF design team, Algo team, SW/FW design team
" Knowledge and experience in RF chains (NF, IP3, RL, Zero-IF receivers, etc.) - Advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
" Coding and Automation - Experience in coding automation for RF tests (Matlab/C#/C/Payton)
" Knowledge in LTE 3GPP, CDMA, GSM, 5G
