Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RFIC Engineer to join our team. As an RFIC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFICs) for our cutting-edge wireless communication systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of RFICs into our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize RFICs for efficient transmission, reception, and processing of RF signals.
- Translate system-level requirements into RFIC specifications.
- Design and simulate circuit blocks such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and modulators/demodulators.
- Conduct thorough verification and testing of RFIC designs to meet performance specifications.
- Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure proper integration of RFIC components on a chip.
- Analyze and optimize RFIC designs for power efficiency, noise figure, linearity, and frequency response.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system engineers and digital designers, to ensure successful integration of RFICs.
- Create design documentation, including specifications, design guidelines, and test plans.
- Stay up to date with the latest RFIC technologies, industry trends, and emerging standards.
- Investigate and resolve RFIC-related issues during the design, fabrication, or testing phases.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong background in RF and analog circuit design.
- Proficient in using CAD tools and simulation software for RFIC design (e.g., Cadence, Keysight ADS, MATLAB).
- Experience in designing and simulating RFIC circuit blocks.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with RF measurement techniques and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
