Job Description:

For a hi-tech company developing electronic components for the field of communications, with offices in the Sharon

Key Responsibilities:
1. Electronic Board Design: Lead the design and development of electronic boards, including Proof of Concepts (POCs) and reference designs, using industry-standard design tools, with a focus on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
2. EMC Compliance: Ensure that all designed boards meet or exceed electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements and standards.
3. Mechanical Design: Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate boards seamlessly into the overall product design, considering factors like form factor, enclosure, and structural requirements.
4. Thermal Design: Optimize board layouts and components for effective thermal management, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and reliable operation in diverse environmental conditions.
5. Product Development: Contribute to the entire product development process, from concept to mass production, working closely with cross-functional teams and external Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
6. Collaboration: Work in close coordination with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and CM partners to ensure the successful realization of products


Key Responsibilities:
1. Reference Design and POC Development: Lead the design and development of reference designs and proof-of-concept boards, showcasing the capabilities of our technology.
2. Product Flow Expertise: Utilize your experience in the entire product development flow, from concept to manufacturing, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
3. Schematics and Layout: Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
4. Mechanical and Thermal Design: Collaborate with mechanical and thermal sub-contractors to ensure the board's compatibility with mechanical enclosures and efficient thermal performance.
5. Interface Expertise: Experience with Protocols/interfaces such as HDMI, USB, CSI-2, SPI, and Ethernet is an advantage
6. Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and assisting with the integration of our solutions into their projects
7. Communication: Effectively communicate with R&D teams, sales representatives, and customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and address technical queries.
8. Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
9. Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Job Qualifications:

" Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
" Minimum of 5 years of experience in board design and product development.
" Proficiency in CAD and PCB design software (Mentor Graphics preferred).
" Strong knowledge of EMC design principles and standards.
" Familiarity with mechanical design concepts and collaboration with mechanical engineers.
" Understanding of thermal design considerations for electronics.
" Experience with product development processes, including working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
" Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
" Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
