Job Description:
As our leading DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our complex deployment model in production, the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure tech (AWS), including IaC, CI/CD, cost-optimizations, and much more, having our talented R&D team by your side.
Responsibilities
" Define and implement our CI/CD and IaC processes.
" Scaling Grip's production environments in a fast-growing customer base.
" Be responsible for adopting cutting-edge new technologies (We LOVE CNCF).
" Lead the implementation of our logging and monitoring needs
" Help improving Grip's production readiness and thorough monitoring
" Help improve cost-effectiveness
" Mentor other R&D members.
Job Qualifications:
" Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
" Strong knowledge of cloud-based architectures, preferably on AWS
" Hands-on experience with Kubernetes environments (significant advantage for EKS)
" Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring solutions
" Hands-on experience with GitOps solutions
" Strong teamwork and leadership skills
" Experience with relational databases and data modeling - advantage.
" Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ - advantage.
" Experience with implementing cost-reducing solutions - advantage.
" Implemented IaC solutions (Terraform, Pulumi, etc) - advantage
