Job Description:
We are looking for an excellent and motivated Optical System Engineer to join our team, with his/her main roles being
- Full ownership of camera electro-optics.
- Innovate, design and test new concepts involving optics, holography and algorithms.
- Overall image quality and system performance metrics.
- Perform complex experiments integrating HW, SW and algorithms.
- Develop Active Alignment process.
- Ownership of camera calibration processes.
- Define and validate HW technical requirements.
- Supply chain and vendor selection
- Tackle end-to-end experiments and demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot and debug a wide range of problems.
Job Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in physics/EE/equivalent (M.Sc. or higher)
- Figure-stuff-out and get-stuff-done approach. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration capabilities + ability to work independently.
- Experience in:
- Hands-on optics lab work
- System engineering
- Image analysis and processing - advantage
- Fluent in Python
- Industry experience - strong advantage
