Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and contribute to
the architectural decisions of backend systems.
- Design, develop, and implement performant and maintainable backend solutions using Node.js
and TypeScript.
- Ensure code quality and maintain best practices to guarantee high standards of reliability,
security, and efficiency.
- Optimize and enhance GraphQL APIs to deliver seamless and responsive user experiences.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Utilize functional programming concepts to write clean, concise, and maintainable code.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill
development within the team.
Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of proven experience as a backend developer with in-depth knowledge of Node.js (3+years) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Proficiency in building scalable and robust applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of functional programming concepts is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
