Job Description:
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and product.
Work closely with Business stakeholders in the design, development, and implementation of the technical aspects of projects
Leads technical requirements gathering or design workshops to derive the envisioned solution along with detailed architecture design and technical specifications according to Salesforce standards.
Perform solution effort sizing and define the delivery plan.
Prioritize a wide range of tasks with an understanding of the big picture and interdependencies across processes and systems.
Proactively identify and communicate potential issues or risks with the system landscape.
Leads and facilitates project delivery to define business, functional, and technical requirements.
Develops data integration and data migration strategies and technical specifications,
Provide technical oversight for multiple projects at a time, including sharing expertise on standards, guidelines, and design patterns for Salesforce based on industry best practices.
Provide guidance on Salesforce solutions as well as technical design and infrastructure, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states.
Conduct design reviews, technical governance, and coaching for project teams.
Assess, advocate for, and approve external technologies, such as Salesforce AppExchange packages, and other integrated tools for their suitability.
Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions.
Coach and mentor junior team members on best practices and salesforce architectural standards.
Job Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, 5+ as a Salesforce Solution Architect with proven experience in the execution of medium and large-scale Salesforce implementation and support projects.
Proficient understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Extensive hands-on experience with SFDC configuration and Working knowledge on expanding solutions with customizations involved.
Visualforce, Apex, JavaScript, CSS, application integrations, and data migration.
Expert-level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes.
Excellent understanding of Salesforce Sharing Security: Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Record Visibility, etc
Excellent understanding of the Salesforce development and deployment lifecycles: Sandboxes, Licenses, Deployment tools, SFDX, etc
Excellent problem-solving skills in the articulation of complex problems and solutions in a simple, visual, and impactful manner.
Possess an understanding of Go-to-Market processes such as Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
Can easily work in a Multi-tasking arena with a strong “can do” and proactive approach.
Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration-building skills, able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
Superb presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Must
Experience in supporting a global organization across geographies and time zones.
