To work in conjunction with teams from all our product groups while measuring and surveying the behavior of our products and the market in which we operate, with the aim of influencing their actual development path, including: Researching, guiding and implementing our statistical methodology; Inventing measures to understand the data; Visualizing and disseminating insights extracted from the data
Specifically, you will apply your expertise to: Enhance the understanding of our business, conduct data mining, and present data in such a way that they tell the story behind the numbers; Manage development of new data sources, gather requirements, and establish a definitive image of user behavior and use patterns in the markets we operate in; Collaborate with product and development teams to support our product design process by analyzing related data and customer behavior patterns.
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Operations Research / other technical field
A passion for statistics
At least 2 years experience performing quantitative analyses / survey analyses, preferably in the software industry
Experience in survey methodology and quantitative research methods
Programming skills allowing you to be self-sufficient in handling data, including excellent control of SQL and at least one programming / scripting language such as Python, Perl, Java, etc.
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Ability to communicate analysis results in a clear and effective manner
Experience with data analysis using tools such as R / RapidMiner / Scikit - an advantage
Experience with big data technologies such as ElasticSearch, Kibana, Hadoop, Map-Reduce processes - an advantage
