For an internationally-based hi-tech company developing products for testing electronic components, with offices in the north
o Work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement design improvements to currently released products as well as assist in development of next generation products.
o Participate in the development and testing of systems design improvements, spec validation, and implementation of solutions.
o Gather and analyze data from systems at customer sites to identify sources of systematic or intermittent issues.
o Respond to field escalations where field service engineers have failed to resolve complex system performance problems, by providing written plans of action by e-mail, phone or on-site hands-on assistance at customer sites worldwide.
o Write technical reports to communicate issues, analysis, technical assessments, system status, best-known-methods, and engineering recommenda
o Must have a degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related fields.
o Have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
o Be able to clearly communicate with cross functional internal teams, division management, as well as external customers.
o Have knowledge with data analysis tools such as JMP, Matlab, Microsoft Excel
o The candidate should be self-driven, yet a strong team player.
o Have a working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, optical-mechanical systems, wafer handling systems and servo control systems.
o Previous experience with yield and process control instrument systems for semiconductor industry.
