Job Description:
Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts:
Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and reliable automation code.
Test Execution and Reporting:
Execute automated test cases and report results.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application functionalities and testing requirements.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes.
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in test automation.
Provide training and support to the QA team on automated testing.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience
experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Solid experience in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good understanding of basic programming primitives, data structures
Deep understanding of network protocols-an advantage
Familiarity with tools like TRex, Scapy, and Wireshark
Experience with Linux containers (LXC) and similar technologies (Docker, etc.) is a plus
